Pay tribute to America’s Heroes on this very special tour that celebrates the service of our active duty military and their families.  Reserved seating for the annual National Memorial Day Parade, the United States Airforce Orchestra & Band Concert at the Kennedy Center plus private dinners at the Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir and the Museum of the Marine Corps.  A unique opportunity to witness events that are only available during this holiday and only in 2020!

Round trip transportation via deluxe, fully equipped motor coach. 

Three night’s accommodation at the full-service Gaylord National Resort, National Harbor, MD. 

6 meals including 3 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 private dinners. 

All attractions, admissions and sightseeing as stated in the itinerary. 

Services of a professional Tour Director throughout the trip. 

All hotel taxes and baggage handling. 

All gratuities for motor coach driver, tour director, local guide services and restaurant wait staff for included meals.


Day 1 – Departing from East Rochester Piano Works in the early morning, you will travel directly to the hotel in National Harbor, Maryland.  Accommodations for the next three nights will be at the full-service luxurious Gaylord National Resort.    Dinner is on your own this evening and the Military Band performance “Salute the Sunset” will be entertaining at National Harbor.  Scheduled Trolley service is available to National Harbor Restaurants and Shops. 

Day 2 – Following breakfast at the hotel you will depart for a visit to the White House Visitor’s Center.  View over 90 artifacts from the White House collection, explore an interactive touch screen tour, view the film “White House: Reflections from Within” and shop at the retail store.  The morning will include a stop at The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, The Korean War Veterans Memorial and The National World War II Memorial.   The afternoon features the National Memorial Day Choral Festival concert at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.  The 350-voice choir and the U.S. Air Force Orchestra will feature a patriotic repertoire.  An exclusive private dinner inside the National Museum of the Marine Corps with a Guest Speaker will complete the day.  (Breakfast & Dinner)

 Day 3 – Depart the hotel after breakfast and visit the National Law Enforcement Museum.  This 57,000 square foot museum has 3 stories underground and more than 21,000 artifacts from every era of law enforcement.  Visit the United States Navy Memorial on Pennsylvania Avenue NW en route to your reserved seats for The National Memorial Day Parade.  The largest of its kind in the United States is held along Constitution Avenue and recognizing the story of American honor and sacrifice from across the generations.  A lunch will be provided.  Tonight an exclusive pre-opening tour, movie and dinner will be at the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir.  This will NOT BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC until the Fall of 2020!  This museum will celebrate over 240 years of Army history and honor our nation’s Soldiers--- regular, Reserves and National Guard. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

 Day 4 – Following breakfast and hotel check-out you will travel to Arlington National Cemetery, America’s shrine to valor and sacrifice.  Tram tickets will be provided, stopping at 6 stops throughout the Memorial.  Changing of the Guard is every hour and the half hour and is an elaborate ritual.  Due to tram capacity groups may not be able to stay together, waits may be long and trams may be full.  We recommend stopping only at the Kennedy gravesite and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  Departure from Arlington is anticipated in the early afternoon with a return time in Rochester approximately 10:00 pm.  (Breakfast)

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT - A $300.00 per person deposit must accompany your reservation.  This includes a $50.00 per person non-refundable processing fee in the event of cancellation.  Final payment due FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2020.                                                                        

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY - A full refund will be given (less the non-refundable processing fee) for cancellations received prior to the final payment date.   Cancellations received after the final payment date will be subject to the following penalties:

Up to 64 days prior to departure.............................Processing fee

63 - 50 days prior to departure......................25% of the trip total

49 - 29 days prior to departure......................50% of the trip total

28 -  15 days prior to departure.................... 75% of the trip total

14 days - day of departure or no show..........................No refund

 INSURANCE - Purchase of travel insurance for cancellation/interruption is not required, but is highly recommended to protect your travel investment, and is available at an additional cost.  Should you wish to receive an insurance form application, please contact the Koning Tours office.
