Welcome spring by joining us on this motor coach tour that guarantees lots of genuine "Southern Hospitality"! Passengers on this tour will experience the charm of two historic cities; three nights in cosmopolitan Savannah, Georgia and two nights in Charleston, South Carolina known for its 18th and 19th century architectural gems and considered one of the most beautiful cities in America. All-day Savannah Trolley Tour pass featuring a 90 minute narrated tour with 17 convenient ON/OFF
stops at the most popular attractions.

Evening 90-minute Trolley Ghost Tour with costumed guides sharing city history, folklore and ghost stories!

Admission to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens located on Ashley River Road outside of Charleston. The
magnificent gardens are one of the oldest in America, dating from around 1680.

Admission and tour of the Charleston Tea Plantation on Wadmalaw Island in the Low Country where
conditions are ideal for propagating tea. Boxed Picnic luncheon following the tour.

Guided tour of Charleston, SC, known for its splendid architecture, historic district and famous Marketplace.

Free-time in Savannah and Charleston to explore and sightsee at your leisure.

Services of a Koning Tours Tour Director throughout the trip.

Day 1 – Departing the Rochester, NY area early today you will travel south arriving in Ashland, Virginia in the late afternoon. Overnight accommodations will be at the Holiday Inn Express and dinner is "on your own" at one of the restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Day 2 – Following breakfast you will continue south en route to Savannah, Georgia. Accommodations for the next three nights will be at the Hampton Inn in the Historic area directly across from the riverfront. Dinner tonight will be at the River House Seafood Restaurant in the heart of the river walk activity. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 3 – Following breakfast you will board an Old Savannah Trolley and depart for an entertaining and educational 90 minute tour of the city of "squares". Upon completion of the tour your ticket will allow you "on and off" privileges at 17 historic attractions. Dinner tonight will be at one of the local restaurants in the historic district. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 4 – After breakfast your morning is free to explore the waterfront area and historic district as you wish. A scenic narrated luncheon buffet cruise is planned on the Savannah River. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. This evening a lively and entertaining Trolley Ghost Tour is scheduled. (Breakfast & Lunch Cruise)

Day 5 –Departing Savannah after breakfast you will travel to the "Low Country" of South Carolina. In the morning you will tour the unique Charleston Tea Plantation where you will and learn the history and operation of this farm. In the afternoon you will visit the 500 acres estate of Magnolia Plantation which includes gardens, a waterfowl refuge, cypress swamp and residence. Accommodation is Charleston will be at the full-service Hilton Garden Inn Waterfront/Downtown. Tonight dinner is "on your own" at the hotel or one of the nearly restaurants. (Breakfast & Boxed Picnic Lunch)

Day 6 – A full- breakfast at the hotel is followed by a guided motor coach tour of Charleston's historic district and Saint Michael's Episcopal Church, the oldest surviving church building in the city. There will be time to explore the famous market where you will see ladies making sweet grass baskets, an African craft practiced in the Low Country since the 18th century. Dinner tonight will be at one of the city's best seafood restaurants. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 7 – After breakfast you will depart Charleston and begin our journey overnighting in Fredericksburg, Virginia at the Hospitality House Hotel. A special "Farewell inner" is planned for this evening. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 8 – Following breakfast at the hotel and check-out you will begin the final leg of your journey. A stop at the Country Cupboard complex in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania is a great way to end your Southern Hospitality holiday. (Breakfast)

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT - A $200.00 per person deposit must accompany your reservation request. This includes a $25.00 per person non-refundable processing fee in the event of your cancellation. FINAL PAYMENT DUE WED., MARCH 13, 2019.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY - A full refund will be given (less the $25.00 per person non-refundable processing fee) for cancellations received prior to the final payment date. Cancellations received after the final payment date are subject to the following penalties:

Up to 45 days prior to departure...........................Processing fee
44 - 30 days prior to departure.....................25% of the trip total
29 - 15 days prior to departure.....................50% of the trip total
14 - 7 days prior to departure.......................75% of the trip total
6 days - day of departure..............................................No refund

INSURANCE - Purchase of trip cancellation/interruption insurance coverage is not included but is highly recommended to protect your travel investment, and is available at an additional cost. To obtain an insurance application form, please contact the DayTours office.
