Our tour offers you an opportunity to visit the counties of Elkhart and LaGrange in northern Indiana, one of the world’s largest Amish settlements.  View many Amish farms and stores, shop at the Midwest’s largest craft, gift and collectable flea market, visit a resored Old Order Amish farmstead, dine with an Amish family and experience the customs and life of these peaceful people.  Accommodations will be at the unique Das Dutchman Essenhaus Inn offering lodging, dining and shopping.

Package Price Includes:

Round trip transportation via deluxe fully equipped motor coach. 

Three night’s accommodation at the Das Essenhaus Inn, Middlebury, Indiana. 

Daily continental breakfast at the hotel. 

Three dinners including one traditional Amish meal with a local family and a family-style dinner at the Essenhaus Restaurant. 

Admission to the evening production at the Essenhaus Heritge Hall. 

Guided back-roads tour of the Amish area with stops at countryside shops operated by the Amish.  Visit a Carriage Maker, the Bulk Food Shopping Center and a popcorn store. 

Behind-the-scenes tour of a local RV Factory one of the many facilities that provide over 50% of the world’s inventory of Travel Trailers, 5th Wheels, Motor Homes and Truck Campers. 

Admission to the Menno-Hof Amish Mennonite Interpretive Center to learn of the religious beginnings and background of the Amish and Mennonite people. 

Time to shop and browse at the famous Shipshewana Flea Market & Auction, the Midwest’s largest flea market. 

Admission to the National New York Central Railroad Museum in Elkhart. On display are two 1915 rail coaches, a NY Central Mohawk steam locomotive and a 5-track O-gauge model railroad layout. 

Services of a Koning  Tour Director throughout the trip. 

All gratuities for motor coach driver, Tour Director, local guide and restaurant wait staff.


Know Before You Go:

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT - A $150.00 per person deposit must accompany your reservation.  This includes a $25.00 per person non-refundable processing fee in the event of cancellation.  Final payment is due FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2019.                      

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY - A full refund will be given (less the non-refundable processing fee) for cancellations received prior to the final payment date.   Cancellations received after the final payment date will be subject to the following penalties: 

Up to 45 days prior to departure..............................Processing fee

44 - 29 days prior to departure..........................25% of the trip total

28 - 15 days prior to departure..........................50% of the trip total

14 - 8 days prior to departure........................... 75% of the trip total

7 days - day of departure or no show................................No refund

 INSURANCE - Purchase of travel insurance for cancellation/interruption is not required, but is highly recommended to protect your travel investment, and is available at an additional cost.  Should you wish to receive an insurance form application, please contact the DayTours office.
